These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern the use of this website (atlasaerial.co.za) and the drone services provided by Atlas Aerial (“we,” “us,” “our”). By using this website or engaging our services, you agree to these Terms.
Our Services
Atlas Aerial provides commercial drone services including but not limited to:
- Agricultural mapping and crop health imaging
- Industrial and property inspections
- Aerial photography and videography
- Site surveying and mapping
All services are carried out by SACAA-licensed drone pilots in accordance with South African Civil Aviation Authority regulations.
Quotes and Bookings
- Quotes provided via this website or in person are estimates and may be adjusted based on site conditions, scope changes, or additional requirements identified during scoping.
- A booking is confirmed once both parties agree on scope, pricing, and scheduling, typically via email or written communication.
- We reserve the right to reschedule flights due to weather, airspace restrictions, or safety concerns. We’ll communicate any changes as early as possible.
Client Responsibilities
To help us deliver your service safely and effectively, clients are responsible for:
- Providing accurate site information and access
- Ensuring the flight area is legally accessible for drone operations (e.g. no undisclosed restricted airspace, third-party permissions where required)
- Informing us of any known hazards, restricted zones, or sensitive areas on or near the site
Flight Safety and Legal Compliance
All flights are conducted in accordance with SACAA regulations and South African airspace law. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a flight if conditions are deemed unsafe or non-compliant, including due to weather, airspace restrictions, or site hazards.
Deliverables
- Imagery, video, mapping data, or reports will be delivered within the timeframe agreed upon at booking, unless delayed by circumstances outside our control (e.g. weather, equipment issues).
- Deliverable formats (e.g. raw footage, edited video, PDF reports) will be agreed upon in advance.
Payment
Payment terms (deposit requirements, full payment timing, accepted payment methods) will be confirmed at the time of booking or on your invoice. Failure to pay according to agreed terms may result in withheld deliverables or additional fees.
Cancellations
- Cancellations made with reasonable notice will not be charged, subject to any costs already incurred (e.g. travel, prior scheduling).
- Late cancellations or no-shows on-site may incur a fee, to be confirmed at booking.
Intellectual Property
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, Atlas Aerial retains copyright of all imagery and footage captured. Clients are granted a license to use delivered content for the purpose agreed upon at booking (e.g. marketing, internal reporting). Any additional usage rights must be agreed separately.
Liability
While we take all reasonable care in carrying out our services, Atlas Aerial is not liable for:
- Delays caused by weather, airspace restrictions, or circumstances beyond our control
- Indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of delivered imagery or data
- Pre-existing site conditions not disclosed to us prior to the flight
Atlas Aerial holds appropriate insurance for its drone operations.

Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
